Licensed Staff - Assessment Tools

This section includes various evidence-based tools used by clinical staff to assess pain.  They are specifically designed for residents in long term care and include assessments for both the cognitively intact and cognitively impaired resident.  Please note that while this section includes many different assessment tools, they are not the only resources available to assess pain.
