Licensed Staff

Licensed staff provide skilled medical care to residents who can no longer care for themselves due to physical, emotional, or mental conditions. Licensed staff may include Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses, Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Recreational Therapists, Dieticians and Social Workers. All of these trained professionals make up the interdisciplinary team that combines their skills and resources to provide optimal pain management for residents. The information and tools contained in this section are meant to help licensed staff with assessing and treating pain in their cognitively impaired residents.
