The Stop Pain in Nursing Homes (SPINH) website is offered to you as part of a study, conducted by the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (NYAHSA) and the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and funded by the New York Department of Health. As part of this study, we will collect some information about you (for example, your age, years in practice, primary language). We also will record your name in order for us to prepare certificates that document your successful completion of learning activities. All this information will be stored on a secure server and will not be shared with anyone. When we present the study findings at professional meetings or to administrators and staff at the participating nursing homes (including your facility) we will not use your name or describe our findings in any way that you might be identified.
