About Us
The SPiNH website is part of a larger project entitled "Pain Assessment and Management in Residents with Dementia Using Web-based Education and Informatics in Rural Nursing Homes" funded by the NYS Department of Health. The project is a collaboration among experienced long-term care nurses and researchers from the New York State Association of Homes and Services for the Aging/EQUIP for Quality (NYAHSA/EQUIP), the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, the lead nursing home, Lutheran Home & Rebabilitation Center located in Jamestown, NY, and 14 other rural NYS nursing homes.
